COOL PROJECT, COOL TEAM!
The SURFWRLD team

Alex
Marketing & Sales
Head of surf school, surf camp & coworking space
Alex is our Head of Marketing and will take over the management of the surf school, the surf camp and the public coworking space at SURFWRLD.
„When I heard about SURFWRLD for the first time, I knew I had to be part of it! I’m always up for new projects and turning visions into reality. And what could be better than surfing the perfect wave right on your doorstep?“

Chiara
Technical project development
Chiara is part of the technical project development team. With her know-how and calculations, she ensures the perfect SURFWRLD wave!
„I can hardly wait to experience the moment when our calculations finally become reality and the first waves roll through the pool – then I won’t always have to fly all the way to Portugal to surf…“

Jonas
Tax advice & financing
Jonas is responsible for all tax matters at SURFWRLD.
„In my circle of friends, I’m not only known as a tax consultant, but also as a ‚fire consultant‘. That’s why I’m particularly looking forward to experiencing the ‚endless summer‘ at the SURFWRLD around the barbecue or campfire after the surf session.“

Michael
Foundation & management
Michael is head, vision and management in one person and had the brilliant idea for our unique double project of SURFWRLD and SCNCWAVE.
„It all started with an idea – two ideas in one, to be precise: a surf park that combines water sports and innovative research. It’s really cool to realize this together with the entire team.“

Michaela
Project assistance & office management
Michaela is our project assistant and ensures that everything runs smoothly in the office and beyond.
„I love it when the whole team is in the office! Because then there’s always a lot to laugh about despite our long to-do lists. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family in Werne or at the Baltic Sea with a view of the water.“

Miriam
Communication & Text
Miriam is responsible for the ‚Text‘ area at SURFWRLD and ensures that our messages find exactly the right form – whether website, newsletter or press release.
„Surfing in Sri Lanka with water temperatures of 28 degrees was a highlight! But I admit: A wave that you can adjust at the touch of a button? That sounds like my new favorite spot!“

Patrick
Commercial management
Patrick is our commercial project manager and has extensive experience in project development and financing.
„The SURFWRLD combines everything that inspires me: innovative ideas, water, sport and the opportunity to contribute my expertise to the realization of one of the largest surf parks in the world. It doesn’t get any better than this!“

Yannick
Technical project management
Yannick is our technical project manager and is responsible for the development of the wave technology and the design of the wave pools, among other things – not bad!
„Surfing is my passion! That’s why I’m particularly pleased to be able to contribute my expertise to such a unique project. And who knows? Maybe we’ll soon be meeting up for a surf session or two on the ‚coasts of Werne’…“
